Summer Book Exchange Announcement--Please Read! (No. 2)

     The emails are all sent! I'd like everyone to contact their exchangee within a week. If you don't hear from someone within that time frame, please let me know and I'll give them a friendly poke. Unless it's my mistake. Then my poke will not be so friendly. Anyway...a few reminders and a request:

1. Book givers should have their books sent out by Friday, July1.
2. Book givers should fill out the Tracking Information Form by Friday, July 8.
3. Finally, I'd like to ask all bloggers to grab the button (to your left) and put up a thank you post to acknowledge your Summer Santa. When your thank you is posted, please add your link to the linky below. You don't have to link back to Ruby's Reads, but I'll send you virtual kisses if you do.

Oh, but I'm not done:

1. I'd love any feedback you can give me about this event. I want to make the next time even better.
2. There will be a next time! Although I can't even contemplate it at the moment, I've decided to do a Fall Book Exchange. My plan is to do one per season (except winter...there are plenty at that time of year). Ivy at Ivy Reads has very kindly offered to co-host the event. The Fall Book Exchange will happen on September 23. Closer to that date, we'll make a formal announcement with more information about signups, dates and rules. 
3. That said, please fill out the Tracking Information Form to ensure that you can participate in the Fall Book Exchange.

     Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the Summer Book Exchange. I had a lot of fun with it, especially toward the end when Missie (thanks Missie!) got involved and I started to inundate Twitter with a thousand and one tweets about the exchange. And, when I came up with the brilliant idea of bribing people to participate. Awesome. All that, and I haven't even gotten my books yet! Good times. How can you not sign up for the Fall Book Exchange?
